Organizations for Ornamental Turners

Historically, we only looked at organizations which supported ornamental turning as being groups like these virtual clubs:

What emerged in 2018 is something very different: the Plumier Foundation. The Plumier Foundation was started by David Lindow and Bill Ruprecht, and has a mission to "teach, encourage and preserve the practices of ornamental turning and fine woodworking". They have a very impressive set of ornamental turning (and other) equipment. But this is not a museum where visitors can simply look at these pieces; instead they are use them, and further to be taught to use the equipment.

The team there are exploring how to make some of the masterpieces we find in the books by Bergeron, Plumier, and Holtzapffel. They then teach these to the people who come to Plumier.
